Why $300

It’s roughly the point where a card processor’s per-swipe fees would already have cost you more than ten dollars. So the free tier ends exactly where paying us starts making sense for you — not before. If you’re selling less than that, we’d rather you kept your money and just used the ledger.

Crossing the line never interrupts a market day. Nothing in SugarSnapp blocks you from recording a sale — not a lapsed card, not an unpaid month, not the cap. If you have a huge Saturday, you have a huge Saturday, and every sale is recorded normally. We tell you afterwards.

Questions

What counts toward the $300?

Sales you record in SugarSnapp, whatever the payment method, over a rolling month. It’s a measure of your activity, not a bill — we never touch the money itself.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancelling means stopping payment, not losing your books. You keep read access to everything you recorded and can export it any time, forever. What a subscription pays for is recording new sales.

I only sell in the summer.

Then don’t pay in the winter. Cancel at the end of the season and come back when the market opens; nothing is deleted and you pick up where you left off.

Do you take a percentage of card payments?

No. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, straight to you, at Stripe’s published rate. We add nothing and never touch the funds.

What about market organizers?

Free. Organizer accounts — the manager’s tent, token reconciliation, the end-of-day squaring — cost nothing.
